What I’m Reading
This is where I share notes and reflections on whatever I happen to be reading at the moment. There is no strict pattern to it; simply whatever finds its way into my hands. More often than not, these are philosophical classics, but also literary classics that I genuinely enjoy.
One of my mentors once told me that if I was looking for new ideas, I should turn to old books. I have carried that thought with me ever since. It is, in many ways, a quiet guiding principle here, although I do not exclude contemporary books either. I would rather not categorize things too rigidly.
I rarely reach for romance novels. I suppose I have never wanted to live in the clouds when it comes to love, or to idealize grand romantic stories. I would much rather write my own.
So this page is simply a place for book reflections, nothing more complicated than that. I hope someone will read them, someday. And even if no one does, I am still happy that they are here, written down.
